An 8374 hung off a LR2.4L would be crazy.
Better beef up the entire drivetrain!

[QUOTE=Full-Race Geoff;8930770]thanks for your enthusiasm - but be patient because the twinscroll EFR turbos will not arrive until the beginning of February.

Geoff, I'm ready to order. My FP-Red gave up the ghost. Time for a new Turbo kit.

What setup will you put in your EVO? I talked to Ravi at the FR shop today and he said the 7670 was the way to go but I needed the 1.05 housing to fit in the EVO. I'm road racing mostly and was considering a HTA-3076 with 82AR before I started reading about the EFR series. Now I just need to pick the perfect one and find a way to wait 3 months.

Edit: found this excellent advice from Geoff.

So which BW turbo is the approximate to an HTA35R86? That is what I have now and my seals are going so I'm shopping for a replacement. Should I get the same turbo or go with a BW setup?

I doubt your seals in your turbo are going it is probably your engine failing.

Well that is very unusual to have a thrust failure on a ball bearing center section. Usually a ball bearing turbo will snap a shaft before bearing failure.
