Not really too shocked to see the FP Black on TOP since it does make the most power.. Whats shocking to me is to see 6 HKS turbos posted up. HKS must have sold a lot more kits than i thought.. Its a very nice complete turbo kit for the $$$..

Come on Guys there are more of you not voting in the poll.. With 670 views post what you guys are running!!!

This is exact same reason i stayed with red on my rebuilt. Damn 6 speed....

I just got an FP Black...

Plan on running it on the stock block. Im not certain if im going to since i know i wont be able to push it to its limits. I might just go ahead and build the block for assurance and safety... only time will tell

Just an FYI, since not everyone is going to vote.

We have 430 (plus or minus) BBK variants out worldwide.. (about 30-40 of those are lites)....

That is quite a few, since we have been selling them for around 2 years... and we are more than happy with that. I'm sure FP has shipped more... their name was associated with these cars (dsm etc) before CBRD was a recognized brand... we were still busy racing at the time..

Cheers

No ATP makes the exhuast housing with a evo 8/9 flange. From their site

"Our Stage III turbo kit for the EVO8 (aka "Stealth kit") Version 2

After months of testing and development with the EVO8 engine combination, we have devised an upgrade system that is both elegant and simplistic while accepting no compromises in power potential or reliability. With POWER and RELIABILITY being the two key criteria for the development of the EVO8 turbo upgrade kit, we set out to test every possible hardware combination available. In our kit, you will find a system that integrates a plethora of unique but well designed components that compliment each other to achieve those two things that you care about most. In addition, in an attempt to exceed the customers' expections we have added other features such as a "direct-bolt-up" housing that overcomes the "reverse-rotation" issue, v-band downpipe discharge, bolt-up oil/coolant kits, etc. in order to make the installation process as simple as possible. All this while retaining the appearance of a completely stock engine bay.

The kit hardware will consist of the following:
  • Garrett Prototype GT Ball Bearing turbo w/ATP Proprietary Housing with GT inspired High-Flowing Valute
  • Bolt-in design retains stock manifold - Retains stock heatshield for OEM appearance
  • Steel braided lines and fittings for oil/coolant connections
  • Tial 44mm External Wastegate
  • Stainless wastegate discharge tube with downpipe re-route
  • Silicone connectors and clamps
  • All mounting hardware, gaskets and CNC machined fittings
  • 600 crank HP utilizing the ultra efficient GT35R (aka GT35/40R)
  • 3.0" Stainless steel downpipe w/stainless O2 housing
  • 100% bolt-on design. No welding, cutting, or fabrication"
A friend of mine has this turbo, It bolts directly to the evo stock manifold. Which would make it a stock frame, would it not?
