WG spring question

So im upgrading my WG to a TiAL MV-R 44mm from a TiAL 38mm. Im about to purchase the new one but I am getting extremely confused on what spring to choose for it.

I keep reading that the spring should be chosen according to lowest and highest boost desired. Im not to worried about lowest because, come on, who really runs with the boost at the lowest setting

So according to EVERYWHERE, the spring chosen gets multiplied by 2 which would determine max boost the WG can run. This is where I get confused.

I was told my WG came with the default .9bar spring since I did not specify when I ordered my turbo kit. So the .9 bar spring is 13.053psi which would mean 26psi max. Im tuned at 30-31. Is it possible to run that on the .9bar spring or do I have something else in there?

My plan is to purchase the same spring for the MV-R thats in the 38mm to keep everything the same and not need major tuning. I know im over thinking this but any help would be appreciated. Im about to make the purchase pretty soon so let me know what yall think

Get the same spring rate that was in your old WG(.9bar)... That should be fine and i dont see you needing a tune if you get the same spring rate...
