Check out these plots:

Boost is actually increased in the upper rpm range and torque is still dropping.

Edit: I do agree that the boost could be higher than 17 psi at redline, but because the torque is falling the entire time, I think its an MBC. What do you think the boost is?

All these big turbos need high pressure wg actuators and/or ecu based boost control.

I am wondering if these turbos will affect the cooling capabilities of the engine due to being so close to the block. The cooling passages will be heated from both sides instead of just from combustion. What are your thoughts?

Well, I think the 5k rpm peak is partially due to the engine maybe having maximum VE (volumetric efficiency) there. Looking at the other dyno with the FP Black, notice the boost hits max at about 4.5k rpms, but the torque is still increasing until 5k rpms. On the ATP dyno, might be a boost spike due to it being dyno'd in 3rd gear combined with max VE at that point which makes for the really big peak torque.

Looking at the Black dyno and the ATP low boost dyno, the torque curves start to drop at 6k rpms so I'm guessing that's where the VE starts to take a dump.

On both charts, both setup are making ~400 lb-ft at 6k rpms. Assume the ATP is at 27psi and the Black at 32psi. Of course, different fuels, different dynos, yada yada. The Black went from 32psi to 36psi and torque still dropped from 400 lb-ft to ~345 lb-ft, or about 55 lb-ft difference even with a 4psi boost increase. So if it had kept a constant 32psi, maybe the torque would have dropped a total of about 100 lb-ft. The ATP went from 400 lb-ft to about 280 lb-ft or a 120 lb-ft difference. So I'd guess maybe about a 2psi taper?

Has anyone done any testing on these yet? Any dyno graphs?

There is one on MLR which just done a dyno and made 472.5BHP on a GTX3076r!!!

i wish there were more people testing the gtx3582r.. with the high pressure actuator, ported hotside, and a ported exhaust mani i think it would do quite well or better than the results posted

still debating. this or an fp black

Ahh just saw that, not bad, not that much boost And the smaller 35/30r.. It's looking better lol

wish somebody else would test it on a built 2L, buschur, awd, english racing, etc
