ATP's original turbine housings for the Garrett 3071 and 3076 turbos proved to be total dogs. Perhaps you will recall that they were extremely restrictive and exhibited excessive exhaust backpressure issues. Hopefully they've cleaned up their act. Admittedly, everyone deserves a second chance and every dog has his day!

Cali- that is an old post or repost its been debated to death on other boards actually.
I made the call, we'll see. I am not sure if they connect my name to what we can test and have pumped out, but they are testing it on a stock engine currently from the info I recieved. The sales rep I talked to can only forward the email and phone inquiry up the line so no guarantees.

Interesting. All i can say is it looks good, we will see how that abrupt turn in the turbine housing plays out this time around. I'm looking to ditch my black do to all the bearing issues I've been dealing with. Bet the price will be up there in the 1850-2500$ range...

There were a few posts that showed how once the turbine inlet was ported and matched to the gasket as well as a gasket match for the exhaust manifold the setup actually worked well. However, and to your point, this should be an improvement over the old setup.

A few years back I dug through the posts regarding the older style turbine housings from ATP. What I remember is that the turbine housing unported had some port alignment issues that obstructed flow.

Can always vote and send it them I guess
I dont know. Made a call for a customer this morning to see what these were all about and the GTXR in the little sizes (we tried the 4202GTXR 76mm on Jeffs car). Of course we are more than willing to test them
