need quarter master help quick

need quarter master help quick

what are the torque specs and the pressure plate

If I remember my install correctly, you evenly tighten all 6 bolts in a star pattern all the way to like 10-15 ft lb, then put the securing nuts on the thread sticking out the back of the flywheel. I also added a little bit of lock tite just to be safe. Good luck and dont forget to put a throttle stop for clutch pedal.

I talked to the people at Map performance and they recommended using a (clutch/throttle stop) in case the hydraulic through out bearing pushed the pressure plate springs in to far. I did it to be on the safe side, is it necessary? Do you really want to risk redoing a clutch over 5 dollars worth of nuts and bolts and 5 min of time.

Clutch is in and working great off to buschurs to get a retune!
