Hta3586 vs pte 6765
#31
In my opinion the 6765 isn't even an option, the hta 3586 will make what you want and sooner giving you a way better yet funner power band. If you want a drag car go with the Hta 3794 which still spools faster than a 6765 and will get you into the 9++ awhp range... just saying.

I make 750 at 32psi on E85 from the pump. It starts falling off above that and makes 794 at 38psi (Std and uncorrected were the same). On E85 at 26psi it makes 657whp. The 86 is a great 750whp turbo and past that you are really pushing everything to keep making power. It will do it for sure, but if you want as close to 8 or just over the 3794 is the way I'd go...its what I am looking at next.

I would vote for the new FP HTA 3794. From reading FP's website, it looks to flow 90+ lbs/min and like Mike said, it out-spools the 6765 while giving you more power. I'm not sure how long you are looking at time-wise to complete your build, but I will have my setup completed as soon as my shop gets the time to do the install. My setup consists of a BR 2.0L, BR stgIII head, and a Shearer 3794 turbo-kit among other things and I will be running Q16; shooting for 800 on the mustang.

HTA like many and even two big name shops in this thread have already said will out spool and make more power than the hta3794. Do you need to here it from president Buschur himself? Vice president Mike has already spoken and the choice seems clear.
I have the 3794 on my 2.3l stroker and it's insane, I can stab it from a stand still and melt tires through second in an auto... no flashing the converter needed. So far I have broken 2 axles, and sheared all the bolts from my flex plate to converter. After this turbo is done finding all my week points I will try to get some graphs and data posted.
My car is driven everyday, not just on the weekends

Look at this HTA 86.. Look at your car at 6k and look at this one.. Your missing 150whp compared to HTA 86.. You tell me if the 2 cars race starting at 6k who wins?? What does your car make in Corrected STD??? The 6765 needs to be revved to 9500 to use the powerband..

This guy isn't getting it people, let him learn from his own mistakes...
HTA86 - 62mm turbo hurting people with Precision 6765 - 67mm turbo....
HTA3794 - 67mm turbo hurting people with Precision 6765 - 67mm turbo.... oh and spools alot faster...
It's clear this guy isn't looking for a fast car but instead a high number which the 3794 will give him but he seems to not get it or not like the price tag of the HTA stuff...
GL man in whatever you chose, hope it does what you need it to.
I'm done here.
