Hta3586 vs pte 6765
#76
3586s (and any turbo for that matter) are all about combination. Like Mike said earlier, we have seen people with 6765s make the same power I do and have a WAY worse powerband. I have a car to do either this afternoon or evening so I am not sure it will get on today but I am going to try to get it on. I might even try to get a little higher boost (change spring in the WG).

If you want a "fast" car I would put my money on the hta86. I find it very hard to believe from a rolling start the hta37 or pte 67 would be able to "reel" the 86 back in...this of course is with two ideally perfect, bottle neck free set ups with good drivers. If you were to do a highway pull (on a closed off road location of course ) what do you guys think the end result would be...let's say both cars are built perfectly and not on "omfg kill mode there goes my piston through my hood into space".

Here ya go Gary! 6765 for sure if you want to make good power! Notice the cars going the fastest in the quarter have the so called little powerbands and the ones that can't get into the 8's are the ones with the huge powerbands. Full bolt on and tuned c6 zo6 vs my car low boost 35psi, 60 roll no break boosting and the vette had the hit. I pulled instantly 4-5 cars! And kept pulling until you saw little lights in the rearview . That turbo spooled instantly. Keep it high in the rpms and lagg won't be an issue.

3586 vs 6765 or 6766 makes no sense they are not the same size. 3794 vs 6765 I would take the HTA anyday you get a better spool and a larger powerband. WIN WIay a N just have to pay a little more.
