Coolant lines to TB; EGR delete

Are the coolant lines to the throttle body necessary if the EGR is removed and plugged at block?

yes you have a 8 so there should be a coolant nipple on the head and then one on the cross pipe from the water pump to the lower rad hose. take the coolant hose from the head(that originally went to the TB) and clamp it on to the coolant cross pipe where the other TB hose clamps to the pipe. What you are doing is totally removing one of the TB coolant hoses

Keep in mind the throttle body water is used to keep the throttle body from icing. This can happen when it is cool and humid (below 50 degrees) and cause driveability problems.
