The drama is too much! for the love of god, does anyone have a well built car ready and willing to test a turbo? I have a ts 8374 ready to rock, but my car wont be ready for a couple months.

this isn't the right setup to compare to the high # HTA86 turbos imo. Still dont understand we haven't got a comprehensive back to back test with the EFR ts turbos at full ew potential by retailers. The internal waste gated turbos with the smaller ar wont measure up. Why even go internal with a larger turbo?

dont forget this is only a 2.0L mild street build, .92 a/r internal wg. Daily driver meant for fun. NOT an 800hp turbo, thats the 9180 1.05 or 8374 1.05 maxxed out. lets be realistic
Would you say this is a better comparison to an FP black BB? That's kind of a 35 size compressor in a divided housing.

Less plumbing, no monkeying with external DVs, etc. Having seen Geoff's results, I'm seriously stoked for my application.

I think leets car made 530ish at 24 psi on smaller turbo.??

I was somewhat excited about these turbos a year ago. been nothing but disappointed since
Engine VE curves usually don't have that pronounced of a knee in them when fully tuned like you see in his graph. IMO, it looks like there isn't enough timing advance in it and an optimized tune would probably produce a more desirable curve. Geoff said it himself, the tune wasn't really completed.

My posts honestly probably come across odd here as half the time I appear to be slamming Full-Race/Borg Warner and the other half the time I appear to be phrasing the technology they are using.

Simple truth is, I'm looking for factual data from them to reinforce their claims because I WANT to see the EFR line perform well. I'm biased towards seeing these work and I'm playing devil's advocate here.

We are in exactly the same boat, though I feel it has become a frustrating boat to be in.

My 7670 will be on a E98, 2.235L, 40+psi, vipec, cnc'd Evo 9 head, S3s, Magnus v5, 3.5" exhaust... the works. I think I'll be able to hit near 675 on a DJ. I will not ***** foot around.

Short block is assembled. My head will be back from NC in 2-3 weeks and I'll be able to assemble the entire thing then. I've started fabricating a bunch of components now... converting to -8AN ss hardlines, Kinsler FPR, Wilson Fuel rail, ID2150's. I'm a busy boy.

found a hairline crack in my transmission case last night, i knew something wasnt right either the rebuild or the oem caused this. I will fix it asap, glad i didnt listen to you and put the car back on the dyno pushing it 100% yet.. I need to fix this trans case first then ill add my 2nd fuel pump and i will be on the dyno right after.

also - do any of you ECUflash gurus know if there is a new ecu-unocker other than V1.1?
