New BW EFR Turbo Thread
#1592
Obviously I know about some of the "intricacies and downsides" of the method used by MHI as I mentioned them already. Not sure about sarcastic tone though as obviously at this point with multiple EFR failures, they haven't proven to be superior by any means. Be it wheel/shaft failures or other. I'm all ears to hear more sarcasm though.
If they use a completely different method, then that is great and hopefully that method proves superior. It sounds like they have it sorted in the recent testing though and hopefully it will be out in the wild in the near future to prove its superiority.

I got no laundry, just keeping the thread going with conjecture and skepticism since we got nothing else to talk about on these turbos.
Griceiv, thanks. Lots better than...never mind.
Thanks.

There was a Cobalt (I think? some random car like that) which the EFR failed on by itself, then a GTR which apparently went through two pairs of EFRs and not sure what its running now. Another time attack GTR had a failed EFR which turned out to apparently be a prototype one. I haven't thought about them as a serious option for ages and brain fading a bit but feel like I might be forgetting a couple at least.
