Did you take into consideration that my end cap has a conical filter in it too?

I could try to model both of them in CAD and then determine the surface area, but I'll let this one slide haha.

got my wastegates and dumptubes in. fit surprisingly well.

my friggin downpipe is another story. not sure exactly how i can get the bend much tighter, but i have a 3" radius 3" mandrel 90* that ill cut up to try and make a tighter downpipe as it hits the a/c compressor. ***this is a gen 1 full-race downpipe, they have a gen 2 that fits better but im running out of cash so im going to make this one fit***

white spot below the o2 bung is where it rubs.

Does it really matter if it hits ? It is before the flex section so once it is mounted it should move with the engine an air con.

i cant even get in bolted on, it hits hard! if it had 1mm clearance id be ok with it.

Gotcha. I thought it was mounted and just rubbed a little. Gotta be able to assemble it. I have been having issues with a shearer manifold with an adaptor that is a pain in the ***.

i'd rather grind the compressor than do that. im obsessive about details like this, even if nobody else sees it it will bother me.

Doesnt look like its going to fit, anyone ever fit that thing before?

Also if you make it fit, maybe good idea to put heat wrap around there. Just in case hitting other parts in future.

Maybe if he contacted Geoff he would lend some support? Discounted gen 2 maybe? But who knows if that will fit with this turbo either.

Grind the A/C bracket. Your A/C compressor won't mind.

try taking some meat out of the flange thickness on the half marmon...it'll get you a small fraction, but should help.

Is that a EFR specific manifold or no?

There is only one t4 ts manifold for all ewg turbos. The gen 2 downpipe supposedly clears and they did offer one at a discount but i know i can get it to fit and save a lot of money. After this i need to tackle the licp. I would really like to use the integrated v band on the compressor, but nobody knows where to get a flange for it. I called borg warner and they were of no help. I have no idea why they couldnt just use a standard 2.5" v band. Its mind boggling that they put some odd ball one on, dont sell anything to match and cant even tell me where to get one.
