The problem was shortly after this video was taken, at another track day, the 8374 lost the exhaust wheel at only 1.6bar / 24psi.

It had the nicer stainless exhaust housing, but I'm unsure if this was the latest updated version efr

Sorry guys, my last post reads like that's my car, but it's not.

The owner's name is Romain, and has a workshop in Italy. http://www.oppligermotorsport.com/in...d=13&Itemid=47

When did you receive your turbo? If it was within the past year.. you're fine.

Your turbos lost the exhaust wheel too?

What are the differences between the new and old version?

Turbine wheel was made in the US of A and the smart sub contractors that they were used a DIFFERENT alloy of TiAL than what was spec'd and guess what happened? They broke, the production got sent to Japan and now all is Kosher.

That being said... I'd like to get an 8374. After I measured everything tonight, I'm 100% sure it'll fit on my current manifold setup. So... if someone is looking for a 1.05A/R T4 7670 to purchase let me know. I'll sell mine to fund getting the 8374.

I want 650whp at 9k

Never mind... lol I was looking at the picture you took of your EFR serial number and then went to mine, and mine is the next one that came after yours! Your is older than mine! lol

R/T #APA306110011
mine #APA306110012

So, if your turbo is still alive, I'm happy. Mine hasn't seen more than 26psi which was on the dyno, and I don't think it will see more than that. I'm running 23psi at the track.
