Are you going to be using a DJ in Oz?!! Or are you extrapolating what you'd expect on a DD/Mainline - so like 340kw?

Is it a journal bearing or BB HTA Green? I'd be leaning towards the EFR7670, as I am not 100% sure that I'd expect an EFR7064 to make that power - unless you prefer a bit more response.

If you are looking for 500whp I would go with a 7670. Jarevo is making 525 at 23psi I believe. For ultimate spool/response the 7064 would be the ticket. But I think the 7064 is going to be out of breath in the high 400's.

Extrapolating MrLith.

There is a guy here making 307wkw at 22psi on a stock head on a DD.
340 would be the goal on kill mode (30+psi), but generally, ~320 with peak boost by 4k as I'm chasing a 3.5k+ powerband.

My main concern is the potential back pressure issues with the 0.92 IWG T4 rear vs the EWG at higher rpm.

I would go the 7670 if I had a stroker.

340kw (~450whp) should be attainable on a 7064. Won't be good for too much more than that though.

So the 7064 is really no better than a HTA Green?
I'm making 439/386 on 92 octane with the Green currently, it'll go to ~475-480 on E85.

It flows a bit more than a green (56lb/min vs 54lb/min - although FP doesn't have compressor maps so...yea). So 500whp might not be out of the question on your set up. The 7064 should spool MUCH faster than a green and have way better transient response.

7064 made 446whp/440wtq [dynapack] on a STI @ 25 psi (Tapering boost toward redline due to bad WG actuator). Just depends how far you push turbos on track cars. I personally wouldn't run anything over 28-29psi unless it is a true sprint race (i.e. very short).

Yes, I don't run any more than 26-27psi when doing extended lapping (6-8 laps) of a circuit.
Might be 28-30 in a Time Attack scenario, but generally will be the lower boost for circuit work, hence why I wanted the 480+ at ~25-26psi.

Small update on my 8374, this is on 2.4LR and GSC R2's.

737whp at 33psi on English's Dynojet, through a pretty crappy 3 inch pieced together exhaust. So doing some headgasket work and adding a dump and should have some new results in a week or two.

^ Awesome initial results - how is spool/power delivery?

I'd expect 320awkw on a DD would be achievable with a .92a/r EFR7064 - it isn't the smallest turbine ever and the EFR twin scrolls don't appear to be too restrictive.

New to 4 bangers I take it?

Whats impressive to me is that it only took 33psi to do it. Still got quite a bit left in it with more boost I bet.

In for dyno. Curious how this stacks up spool-wise vs my 6266. Im making similar power on 33psi

Haha, not too new but that much power is brutal. I have a built motor with a 25g in my cobalt, but 500-550whp is nothing like 700+ LOL.

Hell yea, I had a 6758 EFR in my car and it was stock spool with over 100whp in the dyno. I can't imagine how this turbo is with its great compressor map. Still efficient till 40psi!
