top mount generally has longer tubing. shorter tubing gives best response. less heat wasted to engine compartment.

Anyone know if the 1.45 a/r housing is out yet? Thinking of switching to a 9180

Any more info about the 9180? What kind of numbers are people putting down? Anyone running it? Response? How does it compare to the pte6466? This turbo has been out for a minute and a half but there seems to be no real world info on it. Can it be used with a/c and ps?

Dont like precision but can't argue they have alot more results than 9180.

According to the 2014 catalog, the 1.45 housing is available for both 8374 and 9180

Part numbers:
8374 - 12741008003
9180 - 12801008006

It looks like the part numbers are still "unavailable/out of stock" at BorgWarner itself.

I'm interested in seeing what kind of power you made if you can share?

Interesting, did you delete the bov on the compressor cover? if not it's leaking boost from there.
