In for results.
yeah ive been patiently waiting for someone to pick up that kit and see what happens.

i emailed full race months ago trying to find out exactly what was in the "twin scroll kit box" and if they would sell just the manifold, but i never heard back. wasnt too concerned since i was just exploring options/costs.

did you wind up buying just the manifold?

I just bought the manifold and kit box. The manifold alone is listed under their "EFR Turbo Manifolds" tab on their website.

The kit box includes all of the coolant/drain lines, fittings, turbo hardware, etc.

I'm also ordering a Full-Race 7163 kit for my new setup very shortly. I've just been sort of dragging my feet waiting for someone else to do it first haha.

Build time on my manifold is 3 weeks, then hopefully the turnaround for a heat coating is not too long either.

Those are the only things standing in between me and some results!

Does the kit not come with a downpipe?

If you add up the price of a nice stock frame turbo + bolt-ons and a 7163 and bolt-ons you may be surprised! I know I was.

most people who do stock frame turbo usually already have supporting mods like DP, intake, o2 housings, and don't need a manifold. so all they really need is just the turbo itself. if they want to do after market turbo, they can't reuse any of those parts.

Very nice. I'm looking forward to your results.

Actually I'm looking forward to any 7163 results on a 4G63.

I don't obviously. Been debating whether or not to even run the evo anymore for various reasons. Things that happened at the end of last season got me pretty damn salty.

oh im well aware, thats exactly why im just stock turbo/bolt ons/e85. combine that with the new TT3 rule changes and i really dont need to change anything, but im not sure my evo is gonna stay a track car much longer. ive been itching to build something with a decent amount of power...and my s2000 may be better for track.

My question, is how will the 7163 dyno chart compare to a $700 71HTA upgrade? I know, transient response blah blah blah, but to me it better blow the 71HTA out of the water in spool and top end to justify 7x the price. Guess we will see soon enough.
