I have a friend who purchased their kit with a 9174. The downpipe was making contact with the transfer case when installed.

picked up this indy car 6758 this week. found the tiniest return line I have ever seen. hard to believe a cart team would be in error here?? the feed restrictor on the inlet is also tiny. maybe .035. so maybe there is not much return volume?

what's the ring blow by on those cart engines though. i would think they have pretty tight tolerance. do they use crankcase pump also?

The only way I see that working is if they use a scavenge pump for the turbos.

BW states that 8AN outlet fitting with a 1/2 inch line is "nice" for oil outlet...

as for indy turbo... those engines run some really thin oils IIRC..

Whatever an indy car does, don't replicate it. Their a dry sump system, run oils that us mere mortals cannot obtain, and damn near press fit their pistons into their bores.

Nothing like running 8" of vacuum in the crank case to promote turbo draining lol.

Does that mean I should not be wearing my Flame retardant suit every time I drive to pick up milk?

Dry sump solves all oiling issues.

At PRI they recommended at LEAST -10 for all of their turbos, and not to use the threaded adapters on the EFR's, as it makes the return too small.

Southeast Power Systems makes these big bore -10 adapters specifically for the BW range. You can see the ID difference with a threaded adapter.

I agree with you, threaded adapter is no good.. also there are only like 3 threads in the 7163 oil outlet..

but you can get that 10AN adapter from Vibrant..

I think it is this one but should check the bolt holes..

I made a thread about this, but is it possible to use an aftermarket boost controller (non-ECU) with the EFR solenoid? (In my case, Blitz SBC i-D)
