So this is not an SXE compressor wheel inside this turbo.

So, you might sell Borg Warner turbochargers, but you will not sell this particular turbo direct from Borg Warner because they don't make it. Since you held it in your hands, that must mean that you work for John there at Waylon speed. I think it's a cool turbo and I really like the idea of putting this 71 mm wheel in this chassis. But you shouldn't come here on the Internet and represent the turbo as if it is a direct purchase from Borg Warner because it is not.
I apologize. EDIT: Mixed up my contacts. Where is John from? I'm going to get clarification on this tomorrow. Originally I was told this was a Borg Unit, not a hybrid. I used to work at Whalen's Speed, yes.

While we're on the subject it made 900whp on a 2.0 half fill with Tomei 290 cams at 42psi.

I'm looking for something with an extended tip that would max out at around 35psi before making contact
Smelling has a wide array of s400 options that should get you what you need.

S471 with 6 blade billet wheel, t4, .90 a/r

If you plan on only running 35psi you might want the 1.0 a/r housing, just a thought.

Turbine exeducer is only 1mm larger than the 366 turbine exeducer.

Smelling has a 6 blade billet available for this turbo, which should bring your lbs/min up to 110lbs

Intercooler and all fab work is by Hypertune (Australia). More pics of end tanks:

Manifold isn't custom i.e. one off, available off the shelf for the big boy EFR's (8374, 9180 etc) and Precisions etc

The 'Tilt' manifold (which is more a one-off design) to suit the smaller EFR's (7670 etc) is going on my personal car

That looks awesome! Do you know if the transmission needs to be trimmed in order for the larger EFR turbos to fit? I know with the Fullrace manifold some notching is required.

Also, I really like the CNC'd end tanks. Is that more cost effective to do or is it more for a quality standpoint?

Sorry I'm late to the party. Like 265 pages late. Has anyone on here ran the 7163 turbo yet? If so how is the transient response and how early does this turbo spool? Also wondering if it would be possible to keep the a.c. in car with this turbo

Nobody on here has to my knowledge. However I am in the process of putting one on my car, which has AC.

I will have everything on the car hopefully within a month, with a tune to follow shortly after.

Looking forward to seeing your results! Are you getting the kit from full race or cbrd?
