Not an EVO
Ok, so I got an 01 Audi TT 225 that I have pretty much built from the ground up, just to throw in a 7064. This is about the only place to get some decent info on these turbos, which explains why an Audi guy is wasting your time!
So I have already installed a 2.0 stroker kit w/9:1 comp, IE drag cams, Big port head, Titanium valve spring/retainers, SEM intake mani, custom TS tubular mani, twin boshe 044 fuel pumps and surge box, 5 bar FPR, custom fuel rails, 1200cc injectors, 3' catless turbo back exhaust, and a custom FMIC.
After all that im now considering getting a bigger efr. After reading through the pages and pages in this never ending thread, it really sounds like these turbos shine in a 2.0L. Could I still get a relatively fast spool out of a bigger turbo with this setup. Stock spool was about 3000rpm and I would like to stay under 4500 at 30psi. Any suggestions on turbo size would be great.
Oh and what kind of timeline are we looking at for us guys not on the super special 1 yr waiting list.

If your going to keep it under 4500 I wouldn't go any bigger then the 7670 on your 2.0. Even then I haven't seen a graph with a 7670 on a 2.0. But i'd have to assume it wouldn't be too far off from 4500. Here is what Boost looks like on my 2.3L using the 7670 (green line):

With your reasoning, you could get a 7670 TS T4 0.92 making 20psi @ 3300-3400rpm... (with mivec)
