In having a look at the dyno and did some calculations, is the power not a bit low for that turbo at that boost? f
Full race website say 650hp turbo? And this dyno reading is 469whp 580fhp and this was boosted hard! The comp wheel is 64lb indicated on the BW site.

With the spool and power, are you sure this is not a efr 7064?

AFAIK it's a 7670 ... hoping that MAD would have spotted the wrong turbo being sent and that FR wouldn't have dispatched the wrong thing ... LOL

FWIW a bigger intercooler (my APS is maxed out apparantly) and ported head and intake plenum (I'm on standard head and intake plenum at the moment) would help free up some of the stray horses

Welcome to the forum. How does the EFR compare to your previous setups in daily use?

as requested in an email, here's an AVCR replay of 3rd gear 2krpm to red line, RPM and boost:

http://youtu.be/ZWyKQ8AZoqU

not sure how useful it is ... let me know if you need any other videos posted

Raj, what ECU are you running?

Any chance you could log a 1500rpm to redline run for us?

The graphs totally look like 7064!! I wonder if you did get the wrong one? >.<

I've got an Autronic SM4 pnp ECU but not got the software to do the logging ... would have to ask my tuner to do that

and just to prove it is a 7670 and not a 7064 what do I need to take a photo of bearing in mind the turbo is fitted on the car and I dont have complete access to it to confirm it for "the internet"

Yeah, this is good!
Raj, I made some guesses and, pushing my powerpoint skills to the limit made this picture. Can you tell me if what I have on here is correct.

I'm guessing the tick marks on the vertical scale are rpm at intervals of 2000.
The tick marks on the horizontal scale, are those seconds? I just labeled those 0, 1, 2, 3. Is it 2 seconds per tick mark there or what?

The "pull" seems to start at about 2500 rpm, at "0".
Full boost looks to be at about 4100 rpm.
RPM reaches about 7500 or a little more at the end of the pull.

Was this pull done on the dyno?

Isn't the logging software for the Autronic just on their site? Also, the cable is just a serial cable to a headphone jack?

That's how it was on the last Autronic I messed with anyway.

As far as the AVC-R goes, you'd probably be better off just taking a video with a boost guage and tach in frame because the resolution of the AVC-R graphing is...poor.

Tacho on evo is way off actual rpm so won't match dyno.
Whp on a Dyno dynamics is nothing like a dynojet

hi Talon

someone has volunteered on the MLR to use virtual dyno software to do an onroad data logging so that is probably gonna be better than looking at the AVCR ?

I thought the run started below 2k ... TBH I'm not sure on the scales on the X and Y axis on the AVCR, but the red line is around 8k rpm

and to answer the question, that AVCR run was not done on a dyno

bye for now

Raj

Do a log with the autronic software please. You can download it here http://www.autronic.com.au/. How will he do a log with virtual dyno when you are running a Autronic?
Autronic can log at 100Hz.

We, the non-USA guys, learned long time ago why same engine mods plus magnificent maps by Pro Tuner always gave us different numbers:

1 HP= around 1.25 Dynojet HP

Is there any NOT-PREboosted dyno run so I can compare this EFR7670 spool up to other turbo's ones?
