hey guys so ive broke like two serpentine belt tensioners is there anyone that could help me out on why its doing this to me could it be cause the belt to long or to short help me out

 

its my ALTERNATOR TENSIONER PULLEY

 

90% chance you have the wrong sized belt on there. Order a new belt from Mitsu, some auto parts stores tend to give out the incorrect belt.

 

? I think your first description was better. There is a single serpentine belt that drives the water pump, alternator, power steering and ac if you have it. The tensioner pulley is spring loaded.

I just get OEM belts. There are two sizes for 04 evolutions, one size without ac and one size with. Obviously the one without ac (the one I am using now) is shorter.

 

He needs the one with no a/c.

 

I have no a/c could it be cause the belt is to long cause I got it from advance auto parts and I think it is a litte to long
