BC cutsom age 625+ vs Carillo CARR
Hi!
I wonder what you guys thick about the Brian Crower I-beam with custom age 625+ bolts compared to the number one rod Carillo H-beam 3/8" CARR??
Is the BC rod that good equal the Carillo?? BC bragging about it handling capacity of +1000hp but how about total manufactoring quality? Weight and weight balance, material and all other aspects?

The B.C. rod is made in China. Fitting it with C.A. 625 bolts seems to me like fitting an inexpensive Toyota hatchback with $4000 3-piece wheels.
As for comparisions between B.C. and Carillo, they are incomparable. One is purely a budget item, the other has a reputation and racing pedigree that ranks it among the best in the world.

Interesting analogy. The 625+ can only be ordered in mill runs. Nobody stocks it, not aerospace or the oil guys in Houston. We tried using it for an application (non-automotive) but couldn't justify a mill run.
