can the stock turbo be upgraded?

hey all,
I'm thinking of upgrading my turbos and was wondering if the stock turbo can be upgraded. I have a stock ix turbo laying around nad want to know if I send it to like fp, would they upgrade the internals and make it to something similar to red?
Any help is appreciated!

Your stock IX turbo is the perfect starting point for either an FP HTA Green, an FP Red, or even the megacool FP Black. You are indeed blessed!

FP doesn't have a dyno, they use Cobb Plano's.

I read their website.. and if I understand it correctly, they have one already built in stock and they would send it to me right away when I send mine? or do I have to wait for the build time?

are you looking for the 71HTA? If you are looking for a HTA green, FP red or black, that can take anywhere from 3-4 weeks like they told you specially if they are really busy.
