plastic piece in transfer case?

Im in the middle of rebuilding my own t/c and found this plastic piece next to the gear completely destroyed. idk if it directs oil or what it does. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET THIS OR IF I REALLY NEED IT?

It looks to be an oil slinger. I'd try one of shops that does transfer case rebuilds.
