low oil pressure problem help!!
#16
If you are seeing less than 20psi at idle with 20w50 then the bearing tolerances are way out. Especially if you have a new oil pump, the debris ingested by old pump should not have made it past the oil filter.
But it seems likely at this point that you will spin more bearings.

i dont think his tuner should have tried to take care of the problem with the crank still in the car if you spin a bearing it is always good to have it hot tanked and clean out the block. i didnt think that a 4g63 crank is still good if has had a spun bearing in the past. after re-polishing it in the block did the tuner check bearing clearances there is something wrong here it is time for another rebuild boss dont worry i have been there my first motor burned oil spun a bearing the 2nd one the same person that built my motor ensisted on cleaning out my oil cooler so he flushed it and reused it the first time i hit it boom needless to say i built my own this time still good to go. i hope everything works out for you man.

Yup, should've replaced that oil cooler.
This may sound dumb, you never know with the people out there, but maybe they installed the balance shaft bearings in the "normal" way instead of turning them to block the oil passage. If so, you would have extremely low oil pressure.
Anyways, good luck.

if the bearing were installed wrong with the balance shaft delete then i would always have low oil pressure, beacuse when i drive normal or its cold the oil pressure is fine
