There were a number of people who had problems with the original Revolvers, brand new, because of poor quality control on the grinds...

I recall reading a few threads about that, but I'm wondering if his failure was due to the cams themselves, or something else.

The sad thing is, both of the guys I bought the Revolver cams from (long story for the reasoning I had two sets), said they had excellent results, so I wasn't worried. I know, I'm not that naive, people lie, but damn I'm pretty nervous now since my car has been down about six months and autox season is right around the corner....

I FINALLY pieced together my engine with the 2nd set of Revolvers I had and now I'm EXTREMELY worried about starting this thing up....?!?!?!?
That's the set. When I degreed them with cam gears and degree wheel, I had to move the intake cam over 1 tooth on the t-belt as the gears couldn't adjust enough but the damage had already been done.

hmmnnn

I would say get a set of GSC S2 274's and call it a day...

If you really really want somthing a bit different then Tomei ProCam 270's

With the above you dont need to gamble on quality or bending valves...

Just had mine pulled but I'm not sure if I'm going to keep or sell them. I put about 18k on them (bought BNIB). When I get some disposable cash I'll have them put on a Cam Doctor to see exactly what's what. The shop that installed them degreed them and told me they were a hair off. However I had my head milled and that could have made the difference.

I'm sure GSC can cut you a pair if you give him the specs. I've PMed Greg before about that before I found my pair.

Crappy vid, but I just got my car started after a long hiatus. I'll get a much better video once I'm tuned!

The evo is not fully warmed up in this video...

Yeah, that video doesn't do them justice by any means! The thing needs a tune badly though...once it's fully warmed up, she struggles to stay running.
