No i cant say this is HANDS DOWN the best cam but it is one of the best for sure.. I havent tested the new HKS but its just my opinion these are better than the HKS and as far as GSC goes the s2 is one of our best selling cams and works very well.. There is not a 1 size fits all cam..

I think this is actually a great test car. Maybe I'm wrong but the car is basically stock and This teat shows what the cams really do. No built motor, crazy manifolds, bolt on everything ......just straight up cams. Everyone always say they want tests done on close to stock cars. Well done Mike! Love that mid range

How's the idle with these? These are more aggressive than the GSC S2's it appears.. Also, any results with E85?

The idle on the TOMEI cams is great.. Amazingly the 280 cams idle better than many other 272 cams with less lift.. Everyone always commented on how well my car idled with 1000hp on 280s..

I dont have any results on E85 at the moment.. I will have an updated dyno from this car with HTA GREEN on Pump w/ ETS 3.5" FMIC soon..

Mike, both pulls were optimized with timing right? if so those cams are extremely impressive.

i wonder if i should change my 270 for 280, i just dont wanna move my powerband. Do you think will be good for my setup, im running a tomei 2.3 with a 3076.

Well I was about to go with HKS 274/278 but these look so tempting!

Any idea how the non-MIVEC 270 procams will respond on an 8?

Correct.. These cams have always performed well they were just more difficult to get ahold of in the past for us..

Its my opinion they will perform even better over the stock cams on the 8.. The mivec cams are tough to beat as it is which is why i wanted to test these right away.. They proved to work very well..
