E85+1050s

Currently getting built by MAP 2.3L stage 2 with 10.5:1 pistons(E85 only I know) along with ported head, intake, exhaust 65mmTB, FP4R's, ETS 4in IC,with FIC 1050's going with an FP hta71 turbo. What hp will the 1050's support on E85 given my configuration?

Also not interested in why that compression or that turbo talk just answer the question

The FIC 1050s flow more like PTE1200s, so with a dual pumper somewhere in the 560 range (assuming std comrpession) and in your case I would presume north of that and probably closer to 590. Hard to say until you have the turbo to max it out.

Like Aaron already stated... You will not max out those injectors on that turbo.

Thanks A and M! Staying with a single walbro and using say an hta green with the same engine combo on E85 will the 1050s be sufficient?

I wouldn't feel safe taking a single pump E85 over 450-475. Just go ahead and do a double pumper if you can afford it.

Or to keep things even simpler we can just drop in a DW300 pump.

I don't know that I trust anything other than a 255 at this point. Not enough people running the 300 340s.

I figure a pump can't get any less reliable than a Walbro Not that ones ever quit on me, but I have had to replace them due to insane noise.

So, would the 1050's flow enough fuel on Ethanol to feed an HTA Green? I think that for this you'd need a double pumper and larger injectors.

Yes, the FIC 1050s can do 550whp. However the current pump that the OP has won't do that. So HTA Green on high boost can make around 550whp on a built motor. Really depends on how hard you push the green. If you push it like my black you may possibly run out of injectors... Otherwise you will be fine with those injectors.

Yeah, I guess so, especially since Aaron says that the 1050's flow more like a 1200cc injector. He'll definitely need a double pumper as you say though.

1200s and one pump will supply 500-520 or so pretty easily it seems. Past that they start to get pretty small. The 1050s scale almost identical to 1200s which is why I am comparing them.
