CBRD & EVODAN- custom stuff ;) Finished!

Well, here is the finished product- thought I'd post it fresh!!!

Dan was one of our FIRST evo radiator clients... and ever since we've been trying to get his car here for some custom work...so.. here you go!

I believe dan went 10.4X on pump gas (or something of the sort hee he) so we are helping to drop that a little!!!

Nisie core- with custom CBRD Tanks (3"in/out)

CBRD 1.5" Dual pass radiator 3/4 width tucked under rad support, and custom mounts

CBRD 2.5" one piece aluminum UICP (and we also built dan a nice 3 UICP to test later)

CBRD modified LICP 2.5"

CBRD Custom Cold Air intake with 4" pipe (interchangeable with his current pipe for non coldair)

Removed power steering cooler loop...

and some other bits and pieces...

Here is the final product...

The FMIC is apprx 4 lbs lighter than with the nisei tanks... 5 lbs off with power steering loop removal and removal of the STM radiator mounts...

and a little more because of the trimming etc...

Cant wait to see what he can do with it... and MR Ivey when he gets to retune!

Cheers Dan, Thanks for having CBRD take care of this for you, and thanks to my guys for making an awesome final product!

Everything installed, except the bumper (hey dan, its lighter without out!! but, not so aero efficient hee he)

ahhh yes, wilson hanging out in there (ok if you didnt see Castaway, your loss! hee he)

angular shot..

CBRD signature where needed (in case Dan forgets where he sent the car hee he)

And some Radiator pics- once again- CBRD all over, like normal!

and the piping!!

2.5" UICP with Intake installed...

quick disconnect overflow line...

And the other tidbits.. like the power steering loop, with no cooler line up front..

Showing his Dump tube clearance to the radiator core...

and his 3" pipe..

Hope everyone likes.. especially Dan!

Cheers

CB
&
CBRD Team!!

That should really help with response as the IC piping is next to nothing now on the cold side!

Wow chad. The car looks awesome. Can't wait to try it out.

Last year the car did 10.37 @ 137mph on 93 oct. Then sean tuned the car on 100oct. But we had some issues with boost and stuff. That netted 10.40 at 141mph.

The goal is 9.9X on 100oct and street tires. I hope this new setup helps.

Chad man. Thanks for everything. The updates to service have been outstanding.

Wow, nice work CBRD. i like the custom FMIC and IC piping setup. thats the most Direct route you can get.

Everything looks awesome. Id love to see some more specs on the motor and the turbo setup along with a dyno graph.

Why did you choose to remove the power steering cooler line?

I really enjoy the countersunk allen screws on radiator bracket. Are they screws or did you guys tack weld nuts under the rad support so they could be threaded in? Cause that would make or break the project for me.
