Manley turbo tuff question

Ok, so i need a little assistance from the evom guru's. First off... This has nothing to do with a long rod setup or a stroker setup. This is about the standard length rod and i am using a standard 2.0l crank.

Manley has 2 i-bean turbo tuff part numbers. 14403-4 and 14400-4. The 14400-4 is said to be used on stroker applications.

Now here is the question... Since i am not going with a stroker setup... Can i still use the 14400-4 rods?

Any help will be appreciated!

Can you please share it with as?

I am in the search for the same rods too.
The 14403-4 weight is 675gr and
the 14400-4 weight is 637gr as can be seen from Manley website.
For both the hp rate per rod is at 250hp.

From the other side i saw that carrillo pro-H with car bolts weight 560gr and are rated for 275hp per rod.But cost is almost 40% higher.

Would that 120gr per rod justify the price difference?

The plans for my built is 2lt with 6262 so not gonna rev higer than 9000rpm.

Pat from the west coast center told me that both the 14400-4 and 14403-4 can be used in a non stroker scenario. If you plan on using a stroker setup... You cannot use the 14403-4 rods

14403-4 is probably a 21mm wrist pin and 14400-4 is probably a 22mm wrist pin.

the rod for stroker is a straight I beam like crower and as mentioned lighter than the tapered beam. I would use the straight beam or better yet get Olivers.

ps. dont google image search manley rod with safe search off lmfao
