vta 02 dump and aem wideband
I recently installed a vta o2 dump after realizing my manifold was cracked. I switched back to the stocker and threw this on as well. Before my afrs were around 10.9 or so. Now they are at around 11.8 at redline. Before the wastegate opens however they are up around 12.4 or so. Im on 21 psi. I noticed at idle and cruising some exhaust constantly is coming out of the dump from not having a divided gasket.would this cause my afr to lean out like I described and also under full boost even if I put a divided gasket in wouldn it still read leaner than before since the sensor wont be seeing as much exhaust since all of the wg exhaust is now being dumped out? I ask cause im trying to get my afr back down so I can tune it for 25 psi and im using an apexi safc2, I know its not the best but all I have to work with right now. I messed with the settings and could only get the afr around 11.3 or so.

I imagine its reading leaner because you have immediate out of the turbo exhuast going out the dump due to your undivided gasket.
Also - make sure you dont have any exhuast leaks at your downpipe connection or at the actual O2 housing bolts. An exhaust leak before the Wide band O2 will make it read leaner than before without question.

I have been searching everywhere for a divided gasket and can't find one. I really don't want to take it back off to replace the gasket but should if I want the wideband to read better. Any ideas where to find one cuz the stealership claims the gasket is undivided on both 8 and 9s. Also won't the wideband still read incorrect once the wastegate opens since its pretty much a huge exhaust leak once its open?
