Arrow Bearings with .001 clearance questions, on rods but not mains?

So kind of a noob question but if an engine has the ACL race bearings with the .001 + clearance in the rods does that mean the mains should have the extra clearance bearings too? I know it's for high hp/rpm builds since everything flexes and stresses but can you do one and not the other? Since the rods basically have to change directions thousands of times per minute and can use the extra clearance, the crank just spins is it only needed in the rods? or should the crank have em too? No need to say just check the clearances to see where its at and go from there but just asking in general when you use those bearings do you put them in mains and rods or just the rods since they take more abuse?
