So I took apart my rear diff...
And look what I found.
2 friction discs with missing teeth compared to the one on top, which looks just fine.

Some deep heavy grooves/chips on a few discs and plates.

And some with some scratches, no grooves/chips.

The side cover looks like it has a few chip offs and the flat area where the friction plates connect to looks rough.

Now, I've been driving on this same diff for a little over a year and it worked just fine. I know I'm going to have to replace those 2 discs that are missing their teeth but do you guys think I can get away with it if I leave the rest of them alone? Also, TRE upgrades these to 12 plates. Does anyone know if there's any kind of aftermarket plates I can buy to replace these?
And sorry for the links. I didn't want to do actual pictures because the pics are pretty big and I didn't want to downsize them because it'll be harder to see the grooves and scratches.

only factory ones for the stock diff! they are like $75 for the friction disc and like $50 for the friction plates. Your best option is to get a factory diff or a aftermarket diff.
