I'd recommend getting some GSC S2's and have the head ported and built.

HKS's are 6 years old or so? I've been told by so many people to go with GSC S2's, or even Kelford 272's.
My motor blew in the meantime so it's back to the drawing board for multiple things for me. Good luck!

Your results on stock cams are nothing to be upset about especially with that dyno and weather. What clutch are you running or is it the stocker? You are definately on the right track as far as mods, again cams are in your future.

GSC S2's/valvetrain, more boost, retune.
CBRD's dyno reads low, so I don't know that you'll hit 450whp on that dyno. I'd upgrade to a BBK-B and GSC S2's if you're trying to def make 450whp without issues, especialy if you want to make that number on CBRD's mustang dyno.

a head isnt really necessary, however it will provide additional airflow in and out the engine which will promote better response ie more power/tq, now once you start diggin into pullin the head and upgrading dependin on miles, theres gonna be additional parts needed to make the setup fully optimized. but it seems like u got all the supporting mods so far to complement that part, so id say the head would be next, buy good gaskets a timing belt if your close to 60k etc, doesnt matter how fast it is if it sits in the driveway with a leak somewhere all the time. haha, but ur numbers seem pretty in line with close, id say for a comparison throw it on a dynojet just to see what numbers it would put down. But look into the GSC S2 cams and buy there no tick lifters if not anything else...

Yeah I've been really debating this head and from which manufacture to get it from.
As it sits I have 28 miles but I drive 11k a year. I still think I will do the 60k as I will just extend my worry free maintenance. I am a **** when it comes to maintenance.
Was wondering about the no tick lifters so good call.
So now the question is WHAT HEAD? AMS or Headgames. CNC vs machine/hand. The experienced vs the freaking experienced.

My results at CBRD were very close to yours and I'm running HKS 272's. 359hp/319tq 93 at 26.1psi.

Also, another thing to keep in mind is that we both had our cars dyno'd on a really hot/humid day. I'd be curious to see the difference in numbers on a much cooler day with no humidity.

You got flow numbers on that head Chad . I got an invoice on the head done by cbrd, price is good, just would like some info, experience, flow numbers, at different lifts.
Chad is your head done by hand or Cnc?
Would I be a test on the headwork for dyno numbers. Get this thing out in the open so we can make informed purchases. either way cbrd is doing all the work.
