The flange at the top of the oil return line that mates up to the center section is notorious for leaking. It's happened to my installs on several occasions. The factory even went so far as to redesign the drain gasket. The gasket has a top side and a bottom side. It is relatively easy to cross thread or strip the tiny little bolts. Some people have even complained of oil leaking out through the threads of the two bolts.

Sorry, I wasn't referring to you when I made the "sniper" comment.It's just that there seems to be a defined and apparent bushwhacker mentality concerning the FP products.But, like I said....I wasn't referring to you in any way whatsoever. I sympathize with your plight and I hope that you get the issue totally resolved.
