New BBK full broken in, exhaust smells like oil
As the title says, my situation is a weird one... to me anyway.
I haven't seen any smoke except one time when I was trying to catch up to my buddy and missed second gear, hit rev limiter, and saw a tiny bit of dark smoke.
No smoke through all gears of WOT, or after deceling.
I'm not eating any oil, have checked it daily. But my exhaust DEF. smells like oil. I have checked all egr hoses and are fine. Boost leak test done with no leaks. All piping is secured with no leakes either. Bad turbo? It's only 4 weeks old. Any and all help appreciated.

Ok, another update.
Putting the egr vacuum hose back on hasn't solved the oil smell. Took off my ic piping and didn't find any oil whatsoever. Didn't have enough daylight to take off the downpipe and look, guess ill do that after work. As far as the no cat making it stink... with my old turbo, it smelled to high heaven BUT it smelled like gas, not oil. It's only after putting this turbo on that it smells Soooooo badly like oil. Infact, I don't smell gas at all, only smell oil. And as I said before, I RARELY if ever see any smoke.... only smell oil.
I notice yours smells like oil, and you have the same turbo as me. I don't know if that's good or bad.

The reason I asked is because sometimes the catch can will smell like oil. Second reason is because the PCV could be clogged and if it is the crankcase pressure has to go somewhere and maybe the exhaust is it.
Check your PCV valve and go from there, I'm willing to bet that's the issue (at least from how you explained everything).

Are you making more power?
When does the exhaust smell like oil...idle? WOT? Revving?
When you say you aren't losing any oil and you're checking it daily you wouldn't notice a drop or two here or there or some oil vapor as it wouldn't readily show but it would smell. You can push oil past seals in the head, turbo, etc depending on your amount of power.

I would check the oil feed and return lines for small leaks.I had an issue where i would smell oil burning and couldnt figure it out untill i got under the car and saw/heard oil hitting the downpipe and sizzling off.

I know you said you pulled your intercooler piping off & didn't see any oil, have you pulled your intake pipe off? You may be having some blow by issues with the new turbo setup and out of the valve cover into the intake pipe. When your springs & retainers were installed, were new valve steam seals put in also? Have you tried contacting Chad, he may suggestions for you...
