no fluid in acd pump reservoir

So im buying this evo 9 and i looked at the acd pump reservoir because all 3 tarmac, gravel, and snow lights were on. There wasn't any fluid in it at all. If I add fluid to it will it damage anything. Or could it be locked up from not having any fluid for so long?

If there's no fluid, then the pump is most likely shot! The whole ACD system could be broken. There's nothing cheap about ACD either. You could add fluid and bleed the system and see if they go way. Is the T-case whining when your drive slow in 1st gear?

It might be a little but seems like every manual car ive ever drove is like that. You can still drive the car tho with acd pump out right? How do you bleed the system?

You may want to reconsider buying the car until you find out what is wrong, ACD can be quite expensive to repair. Also, I wouldn't drive it around like it is, don't want to cause further damage.

This car also only has 58k on it and was on stock clutch until 4k miles ago so i doubt the whole system is broken.
