Curious too. I have a few diehard Haltech customers who are dead set on one for their evo's.

Aaron, I had sent you a PM the other day btw

Preload was not set on the gate and it's very low. Was only getting like 13-14psi on the gate alone. The ecu is controlling the boost solenoid. Did not actually spend enough time dialing everything. Next time on the dyno we will.

The Haltech Platinum Pro Plug In ecu is a very powerful unit that was designed specifically for the EVO9.
It basically got all the features the factory has along with all the motorsport features that a good stand alone ecus got over the stock one. Also having full time on board data logging capability is a major benefit to the user.
Just to name some of the advanced features of the unit include 'short' and 'long' term 'fuel correction' that's 100% user adjustable. Engine protection strategies that use engine monitoring sensors like fuel, oil and coolant pressure. Air, coolant, oil and egt temperature, afr's via wideband to vary or limit engine output based on user needs. The latest added feature that E85 users are going to love is full time use of 'Flex' fuel sensors to vary/trim fuel, ignition and boost maps based on ethanol content in the fuel.
