I've tried search but no definitive answers. I just installed an Invidia Down Pipe on my IX (i had an VIII DP on) and I was wondering about fitment.

My old down pipe fit around the 02 + doughnut gasket and sat flush with the housing. The Invidia can only pinch/squeeze the doughnut gasket and I am left with a 1"-2" small gap. Is the Invidia supposed to sit like that or am I supposed to find a aftermarket gasket?

I am also not using factory bolts and springs, but 2 stud/bolts.

Even on an OEM system the downpipe never squeezed down to the point where it sat flush to the o2 housing.

The invidia sits fine, your VIII downpipe however was not fine. I'm going to assume the VIII downpipe was from an ACD equipped car.

Cool just making sure, I was hearing some noises. Must be vibrations on the lower bars.
