Atp Gt3076r vs Precision 6262?
I'm looking at these two and I am not looking to make crazy numbers. I just want something that's all around fun for the street. What do you guys think?

You're comparing two different grades of turbo's....
A gt35 trim is more comparable to a 6262
and a gt30 is more comparable to like a 5557...or something.
...
Either way a 6262 is for 600+whp and since you're not looking for crazy numbers, depending on what your def is of crazy.... that turbo isn't for you.
I believe the 3076 is something for 4-500whp if that is what you're looking for... for better spool characteristics you may want some stock trim turbo's like BBK-full, FP green/red.... or the ATP products which you were describing.

With the way stock framed turbos are now, there's no reason to use a 30R turbo on an Evo. a red or black will make more power and spool better, and I'd hazard to guess the new BB versions will last just as long as well.

He said an atp gt3076r thub, that is a stock frame turbo. To be factual about the situation, the ATP's X line rates the 3076r turbo up to 550whp. It's a quick spooling turbo, and provides lots of power. Yet, as your forumee's have told, a better comparison may be the ATP GtX3582r turbo, which is rated to 700 whp. I have that turbo, and have seen over 600 easy when my setup is polished.
Food for thought, there are a lot of turbo solutions in the evo world. Find a reliable turbo setup and learn to love it, the grass is always greener and someone always claims to have a better solution. Stick with that advice and your pocketbooks will love you my boy.

I actually think there is, alot of stock frame turbo's also use the stock frame bearing setup. As its been stated by their makers at the power level's (boost level) that many run them at they can't last forever. So longevity could certainly be a reason.... but if you're correct and BB takes care of that...than AWESOME!

ATP's 3076 is not a stock frame turbo. It is a Garret T3 with a custom (Garret/ATP) hotside tha bolts up to a stock manifold. I don't know if I'd call the 3076GTX quick spooling, but I certainly wouldn't call it obsolete either.

I think thats what they meant (turbo that bolts to the stock mani. I thought the housing was a bit of a restriction on the ATP turbo's. Either way a better comparison would be a ATP GT30 vs a FPRed BB. I'd pick the FP Red. Get you to about 500-550 pushing it. And quicker spooling.

So I decided to go with the ATP 3076r. I got it for an affordable price and I think it's where my goals in power want to be. I want a nice steet car not overdoing it ya know? my goal is somewhere between 450 and 550 on e-85 and I believe thats what the turbo should do depending on the boost I'll be running. I think this should be plenty of power on the street. Not like I street race but gotta love those pulls once ina while. Thanks everyone for your feedback. I will post pics of the dyno sheet as soon as I tune it.
Oh yeah also picked up a competition 6 puck sprung clutch. Will be dropping that in soon as well.
