No guarantee but if we get enough people signed up we can get a batch made...
Sign up if you are seriously interested and no price yet but these things are some money. If you don't understand what they do it is probably not for you...

I remember Martin @ AMS talking about it a few months back. He completely fried a front LSD, so I called and talked to him about it and asked what he thought went wrong. He told me he was pretty sure the transfer case didnt like the LSD. It had something to do with the engagement. I was also after a front LSD until I talked to Martin. Now I'll just wait a few more months for the RS and I'll get one from it (front LSD/transfercase).

can someone refresh me on how many different types of lsds there are... i know there is torsen (helical?) and clutch type... is there also a fluid type or something... requires the warm up of viscous differential fluid or something? or am i describing one of the above. wouldn't understeer also come from what type (as in one way two way or 1.5 way) or diff you have not what type (clutch or torsen)

quaife lsd purchase...
I spoke with quaife again and they will definitely build one if there is interest.
Signup if you are serious.
Front, middle and rear are possible- Let's sign up enough for a front first. Yes, they will bolt in if they are made!
A good lsd is worth the money if you are serious about improving your traction and handling...

GT40, count me in..but did quaife say we would have to replace the t/case? or do we juts have to change the center differential in te t/case...wouldnt this mean that we would need to change the center as well? and if doing the center and front why not change the back as well? ( or would the rear not make a difference)

I'd like to see how the Evo drives with a front differential.

for those of you who want to know the differences between these differentials, click here for an article on an install of a Quaife (scroll down to 'How Does It Work' if you just want the technical stuff). And click this link if you want to see a VERY BRIEF description of how other diffs work.
