I'd say average Joe would be best served by the Quaife... You install it and forget it forever. No fluids to change or discs to replace, and if your crazy *** ever breaks it (which is not likely to happen) while RACING, it will be replaced under warranty. Now the serious road racer will probably want something a little more adjustable.

Zeus,

what are you talking about?!! Do you really understand how good these things are?

Racing Organizations where quaife is a household name:

ALMS - American LeMans Series
ARCA - Automobile Racing Club of America
FIA - Fedration Internationale de l'Automobile
Grand-Am - Grand American Road Racing Association
IDRA - Import Drag Racing Association
NIRA - National Import Racing Association
SCCA - Sports Car Club of America

QUAIFE AMERICA provides Porsche racers competing in the American LeMans series and Grand American Road Racing Associations with specialised driveline components. QUAIFE differentials helped provide the necessary traction to propel a Porsche 996 GT3R to the inaugural Grand-Am GTU driver's team championship.
QUAIFE AMERICA also plays an active role in the sport compact drag racing, sponsoring and supplying numerous top Honda and Ford teams with ATB differentials, gearkits and sequential transaxles to help these 800+ horsepower FWD beasts, achieve 9 seconds passes in the ¼ mile.
Let's keep this on track so these things get built for the evo...

For a car that is built to handle a quaife is the ****. The only time that people ever need a 1.5, or 2 way diff is to alter the way the car drives adversly to performance, in basic terms you can fancy up your driving technique as in drift or other specialized racing.

Back up there buddy boy... I personally would use the Quaife over all. However, many, many road racers prefer the adjustability of the clutch types. Esp., it seems with the Japanese cars. Your preaching to the choir if your trying to convince me the Quaife is the best choice for 95% of all Evo owners. I believe I have already stated that.
