Need main bearings for input and output shaft

Hi all,

I unfortunately hurt my Evo 8 5speed gearbox because it was low on oil. The mechanic did not refill the transmission with enough oil after changing a damaged transfer diff. After pulling the tranny it was found that the shaft bearings including the clutch release bearing needed replacing.
Can someone direct me to a vendor or give me part numbers for all (4) shaft bearings.

I use a W5M512X5BC gearbox which came from an Evo 8 RS with VIN# JA3AH36D55U012460.

Also, is there any recommendations on replacing any other gearbox part since it is opened now.

I would thoroughly inspect the transmission parts further than just end shaft bearings. The center diff spider and pinion shims, the gear needle bearings, the input and output shaft inner and outer bearings, and the reverse gear needle bearing. I would also make sure you didn't burn out synchros from the low oil issue.

Shep, TRE, jack's or myself should be able to help you. Either I can simply give you part numbers or I can order/ship parts once you know what is all needed.

Thanks,

Thanks,
Hey Twicks,
I would surely appreciate getting the part numbers for the bearings.
I want to pull the box, but need to budget, since I may overhaul or upgrade.
Could you give me the # for all the bearings, input/output shafts, center diff, etc. so I can have them quoted.

The gearbox code is: W5M512X5BC, which is from a Evo 8 RS model with VIN#: JA3AH36D55U012460.

Thanks for the help.
