im assuming that anyone on the 6766 .83 making over 800hp + is using a 3inch turbine housing ?

Or have some people been buying the 6766 on the 2.5 turbine to make over 800hp ?

same quiestion goes for the 6765 if any 2.5 turbine housing have been producing big power?

I would have to disagree. I believe the 3794 and the 6766 to be comparable without a clear advantage going to either turbo. To know for sure back to back testing would need to be done on a dyno, so someone get on the dyno and lets see the results!

I can only speak from my experiencee, but I love my 3794! We made 833hp on a Mustang dyno with the FP3794 with more room to go; we opted to finish the tuning at the track.

I've gone 8.62 on the FP3794, and my best trap so far is 170.8 mph!

Heres my dyno sheet for the FP3794. The other pull on the plot is the FP3586.

I have yet to max my 3794 out but I did make 831 with lower timing (4*) than I used to max my 3586 at the same boost level. I can guarantee its faster spooling than a 6765 by at least 300 rpm combo to combo. Devin, if your 830 Mustang is like Dave's thats 938 on our DJ. It (3794) is rated to 92 lbs/min which your exceeding with the obvious 170mph trap.

Let's let a non Fp sponsored or distributor do the testing though. And remember Awd mike said industry standard is Dynojet. Let's get that car on a Dynojet.

Like emery said, track times are all that matter. 170mph tells the story. What else do you need to know?

Trap speeds aren't the best indication of power. These cars don't weigh the same and you also have driver, traction, weather to factor in. We're trying to compare turbos, not cars.

i thought a few shops said the 6765 spooled up quicker then the 3794 but made a few hp less.

now PTE has this new 6766 and Em at STM seems to like it.

Hey guys. Any further info about the 6766 comparo? I am replacing my ball bearing T67 turbo and am looking for a similar sized setup with better power potential and response. I'm sorry if this post comes a little late.

We took a T67 Evo down to a simple 6266 Gen 2 and it made more power and spooled about 1000 RPM faster.

Maybe you are looking for too much power with the 6766 the old T67 made 700 whp but spool was terrible.
