Fp red e85 build help

Hi guys I'm doing a 2.0l fp red 84mm. I have everything but a fuel system. That's where I need help I've been doing a lot of research but I need others opinions on what to buy. This is a daily driver stock ecu. The question is what injectors do I need and what size fuel pump?? I was thinking double pumper and blue max 1450 but i was told that's overkill. Any input is appreciated thanks. Forgot to add my goal is 450hp and I want to run e85

Interested to see answers to this as I have a similar build planned. FWIW I am planning on buying FIC 1450's and I have a DW300 fuel pump

Ok what about a fuel pump. Will a walbro 255 be enough or one of the 300lph?

There's plenty evos approaching the 500 HP mark running a single walbro 255 with no issues.

You could go with either the Walbro, or the aeromotive 340 pump.

1450s and one pump got us to 520whp on E85. 1200s and one pump were high 480/low 490 before it was out. We could have leaned on it some more and gotten it over 500whp but not worth it for the most part. Second pump and 1200s or 1450s and the single, this was before the 340 and 400 of course.

Thanks guys I'm gonna go with the 1450's so I can make a little more power when 450 gets boring Haha and try the aeromotive pump.

I went down this road over the past year.

a single pump like a 255 "should' be enough. I personally don't like using a double pumper, so I stayed clear of them when it came time for me to need more fuel. I opted for a BAP and now have plenty of fuel -> 33 psi and 535 hp

Don't put too much faith in the 300-340 lph pumps. I have one and it ran out of fuel the same time a 255 did for the most part. My tuner commented that he hasn't seen one live up to expectations yet. Just be prepared for that if/when the time comes.

so a 255 should be good for 450, and I would say get the 1450's for some future headroom.

FWIW, I made it to 500 on a single pump with E70. figuring about 10% more fuel for E85, the pump didn't have it in it, so 460-470 was probably the most I could have made on a single.

Theres a couple threads about the single pumps out mainly the differences of the w255, w300, dw301 and the a340. From what im understanding they all flow roughly the same unless there rewired
(Thicker gauge) at which point the w300, dw301 and a340 really show there potential. To the point of needing a aftermarket fpr.

Melon tuned my old Evo on E85 with the 2.0, FPred, double pumper, and 1200's to over 500whp. You'll be fine.
