Check my timing (pics)
Before I go to start the car, I would like some reasurrance that my timing is correct. Just installed GSC cams, set the tension, and rotated the engine 5+ times. Thanks

Thanks guys I fixed the tooth off problem now and everything lines up perfect no questions asked.
As for the tensioner, I have it set so I can still slide the grenade pin in and out, but with resistance, is this correct?

Sorry guys, the intake cam looks a full tooth off to me, you have to remember that it will look good, then you pretension the belt and it pulls off, so you have to start it a tooth over effectively. When I did mine I had everything lined up PERFECTLY. Oil pump is definitely off a tooth, balance shaft is weirdly in between, can't even see your crank timing mark...
Regardless, I had my belt off and on 4 times, the 5th time on everything lined up. Scheides tried telling me that on the 3rd and 4th time the intake cam was "close enough", but then the 5th it lined up perfectly. That was at 2AM though and we both just wanted to sleep.

So Everything lined but perfect went to start the car, wouldnt start, looked at the timing and noticed the intake cam was off by two teeth, so i'm praying that I didnt bend the valves. I took everything apart, And now I cant get the cam gears lined up with the valve cover without using a wrench to pull them, it seems like there is some resistance. Should I pull the cam caps off, pull the cams out and try it again?
