Help me get more power out of FP black buschur setup ;)
So as we all know, we quickly get used to our setups and keep demanding for more HP. And thats me right now after 6 months since my car was built
Here is my engine mod list. And i want to make more power.
Im currently running 93 on 29 psi
I do not want to run Meth or E85
No turbo upgrades or 2.3 setup or anything like that.
If you could leave a comment/suggestion as to what mods might help me make more power, i would appreciate it.
Its not a 1/4 mile car. a DD with maybe some track use
Fully Built Buschur 2.0
Buschur Stage 3 Head
Ported FP Black
Crower Rods
Je Pistons
Custom BR dual stainless steel valve springs
BR titanium retainers
Arp Headstuds / Main studs
Buschur BF 272 Cams
Buschur inline MBC
Buschur Short Ram intake
PTE 1000cc Injectors
NGK BPR8ES spark plugs
SpoolinUp COP
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
Buschur Street Core FMIC
Buschur LICP
Buschur UICP
Buschur 65MM Ported Throttle Body
Buschur Ported Intake Manifold
Balance Shaft Eliminator
Tial QR BOV
JMF catch can
Toxic Fabrications Exhaust Manifold
Perrin heatwrapped DP
Ported Megan o2 housing
Test Pipe
ETS Exhaust 3.5in
Some items im considering are
O2 dump
Magnus V5 (But i already have ported mani)
bigger fuel pump
fuel rail (does this do anything without supporting mods)

An upgrade to GSC S3 camshafts and then having it re-tuned would definitely be beneficial for more power up top.
Also, maybe consider converting to speed density. You can pick up a few more WHP that way as well.
How much boost are you currently running? Do you run 93 OCT fuel? Are you using a manual or electronic boost controller? With the electronic boost controller your car will hold boost much better in the higher upper RPM range.
I would also switch from BPR8ES to BR8ES with a .024 gap.

speed density is a good idea! i just have to find a good tuner for it.
yep running pump. 93. with manual boost controller at 29 psi.
would electric make that much difference? i heard manual was good enough

Your in PA right? You can always make a trip to CBRD.
Yes, the electronic boost controller like a 3-Port Grimmspeed will hold boost much better. I am currently using a Hallman manual boost controller and run 34 PSI and by 8500 RPM the boost tapers down to 29 PSI. I am going to upgrade to the 3-Port and it will be able to hold 34 PSI throughout the entire RPM range.

You either need real gas or go t3. You can pick up a few hp here and there but you have to look at the cost to power ratio and really design it around the cars main purpose. Whats good for track use might not do so hot during an auto x as you have listed above.

your setup is excellent, but 2 changes to see huge gains. Get the magnus v5 because it has a much larger area for the flow and will make substantial gains, along with a more aggressive cam. FP, GSC, try them for more gains
02 dumps sound like crap and it's not all that. The perrin air filter has shown the most gains, you might pick up a few whp there. And a retune
magnus v5, cams, tune, maybe filter swap also

ill be the one to say it, why not e85? theres more power to be made imo on an e85 setup compared to meth injection. I guess the only question is, is it available in your area, now if you do, I can almost guarantee your gonna have to up your injector size and possible go dubble pumpa haha. I mean to be honest man there isnt much more you can do you pretty much have every bolton possible. Only thing I might consider other then e85, if your tryin to make the car faster, maybe look into a tranny upgrade, change up 1st gear and 5th gear with an evo 9 gears, maybe look into a different final drive? you already have top end opening up the gear ratios, would allow for a higher top speed???
umm other then that man, not much more to recommend looks like your another in the hole 15k club haha
