what exhaust to get??

the greddy comp. 3" turbo back OR the aps 3.5" turbo back? my car is stock for now and i dont plan on changing the turbo. i plan on just getting intercooler pipes, intake, exhaust and a tune and maybe a boost controller. will i get much more power with the aps exhaust because its bigger in diameter? or should i just stick with the 3" greddy comp. turboback? BTW: i have an evo 9 mr. thanks

IMO piping is piping; look around on youtube and at locals cars and see which sound you like. keep in mind those running as close to your setup are obviously going to sound closer to what yours sound like than a 2.4, fp black, cammed, etc., etc

3.5" is unnecessary, just stick with a 3". I have a buschur TBE with a magnaflow and it is very light at an affordable price.

couple things to consider. make sure its full 3" with no neck downs.
is weight a big factor to you? some systems are lighter than others.
are you considering a catalytic converter? or test pipe?
i have a buschur magnaflow and its pretty dang light and is full 3" for a good price.
another good one is a greddy turbo back titanium, super light and full 3".
the greddy titanium catback necks down so be weary.

I have a Greddy Ti, the full titanium back system, not the Ti-C whereas the canister is titanium. The Ti-C also has a resonator, the Ti does not. However, the sounds are quite similar, my buddy has a Ti-C and the difference in sound between our cars is negligible apart from the loudness factor. I'm running a Berk hi-flow cat and it's still quite loud. A test pipe would just get me way too many noise violations and unwanted attention from the police. The Ti-C is not AS loud, but it's still pretty throaty, especially when you get on it. It's a great sound though, it's not "tinny" and does not drone at all unless in 5th going 80+ on the highway. Around town, it's drive able with a high flow, you won't **** off your neighbors or startle bystanders unless you're really getting on it. I'm not sure what the Ti-C weighs, but my Ti weighed a shocking 13 pounds from catback. It's incredibly light and you can feel the difference in weight loss, it's that significant.

JIC exhaust has a really nice tone to it. You really don't want to draw too much attention so a 3 inch is plenty. Custom exhaust from Bushur or RRE would be my choice!

Iīve got a Ti-C and I agree with the weight: itīs incredibly light. I was shocked. Didnīt weight it, thou. I was in a hurry to weld the extra O2 bung and install it.

Quality is top notch. VERY well built and got beautiful welds. The only drawback is the downpipe touches the subframe. Itīs a 80mm (3.15") monster, so donīt expect to keep the under braces. I wraped the downpipe on thermotape so it wonīt heat the oilpan and make noises due to touching the subframe.

Havenīt started the car yet so have no opinion on the noise but always read that itīs LOUD.
