Injen uicp and intake with stock BOV question

Ok just installed injen uicp and injen intake. I hade stock uicp with HKS intake. I was having idle issues so swapped my pipe and I take thinking it would solve it due to MAf position. So it helped. My issue now is this. The fitment of the uicp and the BoV. I have an Evo IX I had one hell of a time getting te BoV to line up to be able to install. I can't get the bracket on the lower part of the hose to line up to scre down. The pipe has a bracket on it. I am not a huge fan o there product but the price was right. Any one have any tricks to get better fitment? I have a leak at the BOV cause it ls at sucks a weird angle. About to put my stock stuff back on. I am on stock battery as well.

Hose does not sit flush on the IC pipe. The part where the bov hose goes on is exposed on the side that faces the radiator. God I wish Evom used taptalk. I will get a pic up soon

Ran out and took these will get better shots later.

It's the back of the BOV pipe that doesn't sit flush. Not an easy picture to take. Plus motor was hot.

I may mess with it more. My boost usually is around 25 now I am at 21. Would the uicp make the boost less? Thanks btw. Why I am trying to make
It work. Spent that money in powder coating them. Also see how the bracket doesn't line up?

Some more pics.. Trying to find a boost leak on it now. You can see the weird angle the BOV is pulling the coupler.
