QTP electric cutout...just arrived!
Here it is in all its glory. I am getting it installed today so i'll write up a review after I get it. I also have a HD video camera so I get some good footage of what it sounds like either tonight or tomorrow.
But so far my thoughts...it seems like a quality piece, with it feeling solid. Does not feel like it was shoddily put together. So far so good, but we'll see what happens when I get the car back tonight.

ya, i would definately get it. My tuner who has one on his 8 said he spools 300-500 rpms quicker with it open. I cannot wait cause I have the old FP green turbine that doesnt spool until 3k...and that is just starting to spool.

So I got some footage of a couple high-speed passes with the cutout open and closed, and what the car sounds like at idle with it opened and closed as well.
Overall impressions are great! The car spools quicker (about 300-500rpms quicker), and it sounds beastly. The piece was also quality, and did not feel or look like it was shoddily designed. There was one minor set back with me not having the correct bolts but it was nothing that i could get at the hardware store. I also wish it came with more hardware to mount the switch for the motorized cutout.
Pros:
quicker spool
great sound
excellent fitment
quality piece
it is super quiet when closed
cons:
With the cutout open, it does create a massively loud drone in the car but that is expected
Thanks again to Phuong and Justin at Wingzperformance for a flawless install, great work as always!

For all you still on the fence about this I absolutely love mine as well. Like the op said Much Much better spool and great throttle response when driving on the the back roads mid-high rpm.
